The world has lost a brilliant, creative and kind man whose unique talent
will never be replaced in the music industry.
Paul will always be in the hearts of his family, friends and fans.
Paul Buckmaster is a Grammy Award-winning composer, arranger, conductor and producer. His music has had a pivotal influence on the sound, shape and direction of rock, pop, jazz and country music worldwide. A graduate of the Naples Conservatory of Music at San Pietro a Majella, Italy, and the Royal Academy of Music, London, Paul is one of only a few classically trained musicians who has shaped the way orchestral arrangements are intertwined with contemporary music.
Paul’s work appears on hundreds of albums by many of the world’s top pop, rock, jazz and country artists including in part, Elton John, David Bowie, Miles Davis, The Rolling Stones, Idina Menzel, Heart, Dwight Yoakam, Train, Taylor Swift, Goo Goo Dolls, Ben Folds, Mott the Hoople, Angelo Branduardi, Something Corporate, Carly Simon, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, Harry Nilsson, The Grateful Dead, Mick Jagger, No Doubt, Kenny Rogers and many others. Paul has also composed soundtracks and scores for many motion pictures and television productions. |

Paul Buckmaster appears in STUDIOCANAL's new 4k restoration, 40th Anniversary DVD of the cult classic The Man Who Fell To Earth, starring David Bowie. The DVD features an interview with Paul discussing his work, and long-time friendship with David.
